Golden Valley is a first-rate place to live, work and play! When we're not attending our kids' games and events at Robbinsdale Area Schools' Armstrong High School and Heilicher Minneapolis Jewish Day School, my wife and our three children enjoy taking advantage of the many parks, trails, programs and activities in Golden Valley: lawn bowling at the new Brookview Community Center, biking through the Bassett Creek Nature Area, listening to concerts at Brookview Park, kayaking down Bassett Creek, going out to Golden Valley hot spots like Brookview's Three One Six, Lat 14 and Under Pressure Brewery and much more!

I am proud to be a member and/or supporter of the Golden Valley Rotary, the League of Women Voters, the Golden Valley Historical Society, the Golden Valley Community Foundation and Sons of American Legion Chester Bird Post 523. I am also pleased to participate in and/or support PRIME (Promoting Race & Inclusion for More Equity), the Golden Valley Pride Festival, the Golden Valley Business Council, LIVE (Living in the Valley Events), and the Quad Communities Beyond the Yellow Ribbon.

When not hanging out at neighborhood or community events or spending time with my family, I am a Senior Government Relations Specialist (a.k.a. a lobbyist) at Fredrikson & Byron in which I advocate at the State Capitol for a number of coalitions and/or organizations like Girl Scouts River Valleys, Ka Joog (a Somali youth development organization) and a coalition of providers which provide employment options for Minnesotans with disabilities.
